GRAW2 Single Player

OK, this is a record. I've completed the full single player part of a game within 4 days after purchase. Well, it helped that I was home sick with 102 fever, but nonetheless, I'm done.

There are some very cool parts about single player and some annoyances. The biggest annoyance, like all Ubi games, is you can't break from the cut scenes. So, you have to watch a good majority before moving on.

In a way, when you have the mule, the game becomes too easy. The mule is your refueling station. It's a remote control weapons storage vehicle. Just be careful not to get the mule shot up. It would be bad.

The use of the weapons varies by missions, so you don't get everything right away. On the hard setting, I found myself having to swap weapons a lot. I'm a single shot type player, not full auto, so when I do have full auto, I run out faster. I can take a single shot weapon and make it last the whole mission. (Except sniper)

LittleBird is very cool. Use her early, use her often.

Single player is much more tactical than the R6 series. At times, you have to control a squad, other ghosts, and the UAV. Other times, you have ghosts, LittleBird, and a tank.

The biggest issue I have with this: IT'S TOO SHORT!!! I know, I know, everything is moving to MP, but come on, when you make a game of this caliber, make it last.

So, don't run and gun.

After Killer gets acquainted with the game, I will start the MP co-op with him. Then, a full review.

GRAW 2 - mini review

So, why haven't we posted in a while? Maybe because nothing innovative has been released on the 360. Maybe because we're lazy. Maybe because we're bored.
Well, this game is not innovative nor new. It's GRAW. When I played the demo, I looked and saw GRAW 1.5. So what's new or innovative?
Nothing really. However, I'm not dissappointed with the game so far. I spent about 1 1/2 hours last night playing, going through the tutorial and the first mission. Controls take a bit more getting used to, but they are functional.
Graphics are way better than GRAW. Tremendous. They put in a mixture of both live video and CGI which is really cool.
I still have yet to try co-op, but I hear it's fantastic.
Another reason I got this was because it was $34.99. Fry's had a sale, brought it to my local Best Buy and they matched. Is it worth $59.99? IMHO, no. Get it on sale.
