A book review by Killer - (short review)

Killer does not like to waste words.

Checked out Xbox 360 for Dummies last week (needed something to do with Whacky out of town). This book should be renamed Xbox 360 for total idiots!. There is NOTHING in it for anyone who already has a 360 and is using it.

Don't waste your time and money on this book.

Oblivion

This is a game that has to be bought to be enjoyed. I rented it just to see what it was like and it is worth buying…IF you have a lot of time to devote to the game. It looks awesome.

I played Morrowind on a PC and if you imagine the game map to be the size of the US,.over the nine months I played it, I only mapped an area about the size of Mississippi. My problem is I tried to do all the quests and joined all the guilds (not good). Unfortunately, I created a conflict within myself by renting the game. I want to do more, but knowing I have limited time, I have to settle for just running thru selected quests. I feel like I am missing too much.

Oh well, time to take the game back. Maybe someday, I will buy it, but for now, I know I don’t have the time the game deserves or requires.

Misc. Rambling’s by Killer Nikita (addendum by Whacky)

Latest demos from E3

  • Test Drive Unlimited - looks cool. Three demo cars are sweet. You can open the doors and windows. Best of all, includes a convertible. Killer can’t wait to drive around as a girl. Rumor…you get to pick up hitch hikers. NOTE: if you crash a lot, the police track you down and set up roadblocks. Good news, you can go off road and avoid them, at least for a while. Killer still searching for the Blow Hole!
  • MotoGP… Killer no like. Killer laid down his bike all the time.

Latest games

  • Rented Tomb Raider. Finished the missions in a week. Looked good and was fun to play. Just to short.
  • Bought UNO. Got tired of waiting for Poker. Strange as it may be, UNO is blast. I think that Live is coming of age. While the FPS are fun, it seems they are lacking a social aspect A lot of lone wolves playing for themselves. UNO, and the CO-OP modes of the new games are changing that. Whacky Edit - Uno is a lot of fun. One of funniest things heard while playing: a guy doing a vapor bong. Who needs Vicks?

The future is so bright, I gotta wear shades.
