Rainbow Six Lockdown

Well, if you're looking for the Rainbow Six 3 series, don't. This is not the 3 series.
I played for a bit last night live. There are a couple of good things:
Smooth paning: Upside: This is almost too smooth. You move very quickly and it takes a little bit to get used to.
Downside: Graphics are not too great. This is more of an arcade style game than the RS3 series and plays like it.
Maps are bigger: Upside: Lot's more places to go, looks pretty cool.
Downside: Spawn campers. The strategy for the other team is to get one or 2 people to the spawn of the other team and camp. Then as people get killed, they sit there and pick you off.
PEC: Upside: You can be one of four different types of soldiers. It's pretty cool, because each person has a certain role and you can help out your teammates.
Downside: It is still buggy and Ubi has to address this issue.

Overall, I would have to say that I'm a bit disappointed in the game so far. I have to play Live a little more along with the single player mission. After I was on Live last night and Killer left, I went straight to GR2 SS. Bunker Hill Redux mission is tough....

Summer Slackers

Who could blame us? Nothing mind-boggling has been released. Sure, you have the Halo 2 maps for free and Ghost Recon 2: Summit Strike, but what happened to all the promises? Rainbow Six 3: Lockdown, Splinter Cell DLC, Stacked? All in all, a very disappointing summer that will hopefully lead up to a fantastic release of Xbox 360. However, I am not getting my hopes up too high, I think I'll set myself up for disappointment if I do.
We did pick up GR2:SS. I like the mission details and to some extend the AI. However, I think this should be called Ghost Recon 2: Dawn of the Dead. On one mission, the city, I had around a corner going to demo the downed helo. While I was covering, 2 guys spawned out of thin air, literally. They spawned on the other side of a bridge in the middle of thin air. They completely ignored me and went after my guys. Just to make sure I wasn't seeing things, I restarted and went to same place on 2 guys respawned again. And again. I think it's their anti-camping routine they put in.
Overall, the game play is fun and harder that the first GR2. The co-op is pretty cool also but Killer and I have been trying to do it with only 2 people. Makes it very hard because we both suck.
