Lost

I'm lost: first, Microsoft decides that it's going to use the PowerPC chip, primarily used in Macintosh's, as the processor of choice for the XBox 360. Now, Apple is talking about developing MacOS for Intel chips?
I bet in near future, Longhorn will be developed for PowerPC.
What next, Sony have it's on OS?
