This demo rocks!!! The Xbox forums have been bashing this demo, but here is why I think they are complaining:
1) They are running on standard def TV. You paid $500+ for a state of the art gaming system, get a state of the art HD-TV.
2) They are complaining about lag. Get off DSL and get cable modem. While the installer is there, ask him to make sure that you have the fastest connection possible. For those who have cable modem and it's slow, have a technician come out to check your connection speed. I hosted a small room (6 player) the other night and had no issues.
I'm looking forward to the single player of this game. It looks mighty cool, the Doom engine rocks. Just the opening sequence is unreal. Someone complained that the water going down the drain wasn't realistic. I have an idea: go into your bathroom and turn on the water. There, you have realism.
