Killer's Xbox 360 - First Review.

Whacky is complaining Killer has not posted a review for the Xbox 360. Hey, some of us work around here. And when I am not at work, and not working on my basement (finishing it), I am playing on my 360. So little time.

Whacky is just jealous he does not have one yet. Of course, Killer has a kind heart and Whacky has his on its way via UPS. He should have by Friday, 12/2.

Quick review – SWEET.

Pros:

• Wireless controller with headset. Took about a week to learn I was not attached to the Xbox anymore. Every time someone came to the door, I would take off the headset and put the controller down. Finally learned I could just walk over to the door and keep playing. Access to sustenance now improved as well. Beer, scotch and snacks…just get up and grab. Wish I could tie my phone into the 360 so I could answer the phone and keep playing… oh, better yet… have the ability to use the phone line or Internet to order a pizza while playing.
• Chat with friends while each playing a different game
• Games are awesome.
• Call of Duty 2 –rocks big time, but you cannot create a live match with fiends and there is no lobby to pick games from. Once a match ends you are kicked back to the main live screen to have the game find another match.
• Gun is simply fun, but I need to learn to ride that darn horse. People have commented that is not politically correct, which is true. But then again, the drunken Irish did help build the railroad.
• Perfect Dark Zero - good game, but I cannot get the hang of it, probably because I have been playing COD2 most of the time.
• Kameo – Wife was looking for a game to play and pick Kameo. Game grows on you. If wife and daughter get into it, it will mean less time for me on the 360.
• Halo and Halo2 play perfectly as does Forza.
• Only had to charge the rechargeable battery once since I got it. I have two controller and two plug and play kits. Always have a battery ready to go, just in case.
• Connection to the PC is perfect. I can stream my media files (MP3, pictures and video) thru the Xbox. BlazeYaDead even showed me how to use a picture as my dashboard background.

Cons:

• Chat with only one friend at a time. I hope they fix this soon.
• Cannot dashboard chat with old Xbox.
• Most of my games are currently NOT backwards compatible. They said the best selling games would be, but I am confused… Barbie sold better than Splinter Cell?
• DVD is a little noisy.
